Getting Started
To create your first CV, click on "Get Started" or navigate to the CV Builder. You can start by filling in your personal information, work experience, education, and skills. Our AI-powered builder will suggest improvements and help you create a professional CV.
You can generate a cover letter by navigating to the Cover Letter section. First, make sure you have a job application saved. Then select the application and click "Generate Cover Letter". Our AI will create a tailored cover letter based on the job description and your profile.
Yes, you need to create a free account to use EasyApplAI. Creating an account allows you to save your CVs, track applications, and access all features. Sign up is free and takes less than a minute.
CV Builder
In the CV Builder, if you have not yet added your profile data, you can upload your CV data from the CV-builder or from the profile page. Otherwise, you can add more sections manually by editing a section on your profile. Available sections include Work Experience, Education, Skills, Languages, Certifications, and more. Simply click on a section type to add it to your Profile. Then create a new application with a CV, or reset your current CV to your updated profile.
Yes! You can choose from multiple professional templates and customize colors, fonts, and layout. Premium users have access to additional premium templates. All templates are ATS-friendly and optimized for job applications.
To export your CV, go to the CV Preview page and click the "Export" button. You can export your CV as PDF or Word document. The export maintains all formatting and is ready to send to employers.
You can translate your entire profile (CV data) to French, German, or English from the Profile page. Go to your Profile, select the "Translated" tab, choose your target language, and click "Translate". Once translated, you can use the translated profile independently for applications in that language. Each translated profile is saved separately and can be edited independently.
To tailor your CV to a job description, first add a new job application through the Applications page. Then, craft a new CV and navigate to the CV page. You'll see a "Tailor for Job" button that automatically tailors your entire CV to match the job description you added. The AI will enhance your CV by matching your skills and experience to the job requirements, optimizing keywords, and highlighting relevant qualifications.
To incorporate new profile changes into your CV, use the 'Reset to Profile' button in the CV Editor. This button resets your CV document to match your current profile information, which is useful when you've updated your profile (added new work experiences, education, skills, etc.) and want to sync your CV with those changes. When you reset, all CV settings (template, colors, spacing, fonts, section order, visibility) are reset to defaults, and the content is refreshed from your profile. This ensures your CV always reflects the latest information from your profile.
Cover Letters
Our AI analyzes the job description and your profile to identify key requirements and match them with your skills and experience. It then generates a personalized cover letter that highlights relevant qualifications and demonstrates why you're a good fit for the position.
Yes, you can fully edit any generated cover letter. After generation, you can modify the text, add or remove sections, and customize the content to better match your style and preferences.
Free users can generate up to 10 cover letters per month. Premium users have unlimited cover letter generation. Each cover letter is saved to your account and can be accessed anytime.
Application Tracking
To add a job application, click on "New Application" or navigate to the Application page. Fill in the job details including company name, job title, job description, and application date. You can also add notes and set reminders.
Yes! You can track the status of each application (Applied, Interview, Offer, Rejected, etc.) and add notes about your progress. The dashboard provides a visual overview of all your applications.
When adding or editing an application, you can set a reminder date. You'll receive notifications to follow up on applications. This helps you stay organized and never miss an important follow-up.
Interview Preparation
Navigate to an application and click "Interview Preparation". Select your preferred AI voice and session duration (up to 5 minutes). Make sure your microphone is working, then click "Start Interview" to begin the practice session.
The AI interviewer asks questions based on the job description and your profile. Questions cover your experience, skills, motivation, and situational scenarios relevant to the position. Each session is unique and tailored to the specific job.
Yes! All interview sessions are recorded and saved. You can review past sessions in the Interview History section, listen to recordings, and see your performance to improve for future interviews.
Templates & Exports
We offer multiple professional CV templates, all optimized for ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems). Free users have access to standard templates, while Premium users can access premium templates like Harvard and MTeck.
You can export your CV and cover letters as PDF. PDF is recommended for online applications.
Yes! All our templates are designed to be ATS-friendly. They use standard formatting, clear section headers, and avoid complex layouts that could confuse applicant tracking systems. This increases your chances of passing initial screening.
